2010 Triumph Scrambler. Steve McQeen green. LOW MILES and LOADED in Saint George, Vermont For Sale
Type: Motorcycles, For Sale - Private.
I'm selling my beloved xxxx Triumph Scrambler.
If you don't know the Scrambler, it's a beefed-up version of the Bonneville. It has the Bonny's classic xxxxs looks, but it's a little heavier, the handlebars are wider and higher, and it has high scrambler-type pipes. The engine is re-tuned and the transmission re-geared for low-end torque. It has a little more clearance.
The Scrambler isn't the best-known Triumph, but a lot of veteran riders think it's the best bike Triumph has ever made. It handles gravel and crappy Vermont potholes better than a Bonny; it's more comfortable for longer rides; the handling is as good or better, especially the way it falls into turns. It's just a fantastic bike, almost a dual-sport disguised as a retro bike. The only reason I'm selling is to buy another Scrambler that's outfitted for long-distance touring. Otherwise, I would have it buried with me when I die.
This Scrambler is the cool Steve McQueen matte green and has a ton of options:
*Arrow 2-into-1 cannon exhaust. The sound is fantastic and you get a slight boost in performance $xxxx
*Re-mapped fuel injector to match exhaust $300
*Shorty windshield. $120
*Engine protector bars: $170
*Stone guard (headlamp grill). $80
*Solo seat: $350 This has a cargo rack in the back for solo road trips.
*Skid plate: $120
I also have the stock two-up seat, and I have the original 2-into-2 exhaust pipes, which give the bike a very different look and sound. (But if you switch pipes, I advise re-mapping.)
New Scramblers are going for $9,100 plus dealer's fees of $700. With all these accessories, you are looking at $12,600. This bike has under xxxx miles.
Price is $xxxx with the standard seat or $xxxx with both the standard seat and the solo/cargo seat.
